Consultation Services

1-on-1 guidance from a trained permaculture designer

Consulting with Fractal Permaculture gives you access to a well-rounded and diverse knowledge base that will help you bring more abundance, resilience and efficiency into your life. A permaculture consultation can benefit any type of project or system.

Maybe you are looking for a property consultation to help evaluate your land’s restrictions, advantages, best practices, plant lists, or climate. Or you are in need of a business sustainability evaluation to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Perhaps you are looking for an assessment on your home to learn about reducing your ecological footprint while saving money. Or some advice for your community to increase interconnection and resilience based on social permaculture principles.

A consultation will help you gain clarity about:

  • What you need to know before investing time and money in a project or property
  • Common pitfalls and mistakes to avoid
  • Setting realistic project goals and timeline
  • Basic information about your region and climate
  • Permaculture practices that are appropriate for your project
  • Educational resources to support you on your permaculture journey

A consultation can save you loads of time and money in the long run, and help you gain direction and confidence as you step forward on the path towards regeneration.

“Permaculture is about observing your life and your surroundings, and changing them little by little to harmonize with the rhythms and flows of nature. Rather than consuming and destroying until social/economic/environmental collapse, permaculture leads us to the path of least resistance and most resilience. Permaculture systems are able to self-regulate, adapt, grow, heal, and provide for our needs and the needs of future generations.”

TESTIMONIAL

“While visiting my home in the North Carolina Piedmont, Colin performed a thorough assessment of my property, mapping the angle and area of sunlight in the vicinity, testing our soil, and ultimately providing detailed recommendations of native plant species to integrate into our homestead. He even offered resources for connecting with local permaculturists and indigenous peoples. I highly recommend their services to future clients in this line of work!”
